My name is Sarah Smith. As a member of the Prince William County community, either as a resident or a PWCS employee or both, I’m writing to let you know that I support meaningful collective bargaining for our dedicated county schools’ employees.
This includes rights for ALL of our county schools’ workers (including employees in every department with and without benefits), the ability to bargain over all working conditions, including staffing, scheduling, discipline and more, and the right for workers to communicate and meet with each other about working conditions and union-related activities.
The county schools’ staff needs and deserves meaningful collective bargaining to keep their students, themselves, and their families healthy and to continue to serve our community safely and securely during challenging times. Let’s make this happen.
